Romance Town, from KBS TV --- (L to R): Min Hyo Rin, Jeong Kyeo Woon, Sung Yu Ri and Kim Min Jun |
I'm personally watching this series because of Kyeo Woon. I loved his character in "Dr. Champ", and I do remember watching a few episodes of "Loving You A Thousand Times" (which I now plan to finish, thanks to this drama... hehehe!). He has a natural knack for romantic-comedy, and, based on what I've been able to see in the first episode of this drama, I hope that he and Sung Yu Ri follow-through on their potentially strong chemistry.
The story's thematic focus is pretty original --- it delves into the lives of househelp, and how silly circumstances can can result in the most unlikely of love stories. I've never seen a drama focus on maids before, but then again, the story of the "master-who-falls-in-love-with-the-maid" isn't exactly breaking news for everyone, right? Throw in a lotto win somewhere in the beginning of the story, and there has got to be some serious comedy there somewhere (at least that's what most of the synopses say in the Asian drama sites I've been to).
